Two days ago I rescued 4 duck eggs - unfortunately their mother is dead, killed by a dog.
I was holding them in heat and moisture and now they are hatching!
This one we see is already very tame and loves to cuddle to my hand :) There are already two of 4 babies out!
Now there will be a lot of hard work, but I'm glad from one thing - they seem to like their new super-giant mom =D

awww these lucky ducks*no pun intended*That was sweet of you to rescue them
I remember as a little girl my cat almost killed this poor bunny.It was still really small. I wanted to take of the poor thing but my step dad snatched him from me and threw him down the hill,and killed it

Yes, they are already free now - with other wild duck in a small lake near to my house.

Why he did it? I get absolutely mad when I see 'people' like him - sorry, but I'd smash his face if I was there.

I'd let you to.I hate him and am so glad my mom left him.He even laughed when he killed the poor thing

My father is similiar, though he doesn't even try to kill animals. But I hate him to. So don't worry and be happy that he left :hug:

He isn't my 'dad' anymore. That's how I called him when I was little brat. He is just a man who procreated me. That's all.
