A little animation of Toothless from "How to train your Dragon" This is my first try ever to draw Toothless - also it was oryginally sketched on paper, without any reference, and I watched the movie only one time in my life, about 5-6 months ago And I totally forgot, his eyes were more green, than yellow. I'll fix that later. EDIT: Fixed his eyecolor
This is simply amazing. It reminds of Toothless from the movie. It's truly incredible but the only flaw I see is his eyes. His eyes are a more green color but it's great!
I love the shading and lighting you did along with the picture but it's a little flickery, if you know what I mean. It like flickers as if someone is turning on and off a light. But that's not even a major problem.
This reminds me so much of Toothless and nothing will change the incredibility in this animation.
Well your Toothless looks fantastic. I love the texture of the skin, and you got the shape of the head really well. If you just used the Toothless from the film as a guideline then it's all good.
If you were looking for an exact replica of the Toothless in the film the Toothless in the film has green-yellow eyes, rather than yellow ones, and the tail is shaped more fan-like than triangular shaped.
Also on the head of the film Toothless, there are the normal scales, but then there are also some slightly bigger glossy scales staggered up from between the eyes up through the forehead.
